Rainbow School Council

At Rainbow School, the School Council is not merely a body of representatives but the voice of our student community. As elected members, they embody the ethos of the school: responsibility, respect, service and commitment to excellence.

To ensure the council truly reflects these values, we follow a systematic three-step selection process:

  • Questionnaire Round
Students of Classes XI and XII complete a thoughtfully designed questionnaire that helps us identify their leadership qualities, decision-making abilities and sense of responsibility.
  • Teacher Nomination Round
In this stage, teachers assess the shortlisted students and nominate those who consistently display integrity, discipline and commitment in their daily conduct.
  • Interview Round
The final stage is a panel interview conducted by the school management and administration. Here, candidates are evaluated on their confidence, communication skills and vision for the school.

Following this rigorous process, the most deserving and capable students are entrusted with leadership roles such as Head Boy, Head Girl, School Ambassador, Welfare Captain, Vice Head Boy and Girl, Sports Captain, House Captains and Prefects.

For Classes VI to VIII, portfolios like Prefects, Monitors and Class Buddies are also thoughtfully distributed, enabling younger students to experience leadership and uphold the values of Rainbow School.
